Just a little curious has anyone met any famous chefs or have they dine in there resturants. I see all the cook books and cooking shows and would like to know how they are or what the food was like in their resturants.

Tyler Florence and his film crew came out to California for a Salmon Festival where my friends and I coordinate the American Indian exhibit and cook salmon on sticks over hot coals-- Yurok style. My son and I took him fly fishing in the American River-- he was fun-- the crew was a pain!

I met Mario Batali at the epicurean classic in Traverse City, Mi last year. He talked fast just like he does on tv and was very friendly. He chatted with everybody. His food was fantastic, every single item was top notch. I used to write for Emeril Lagasse on his website, but I never met him. [/img]

Last year I have had a chance to talk to chef Sanjeev Kapoor of India. He is a very popular chef of Indian cuisine. He has written the book "Khaana Khazana"
